Here’s a little book roundup!  I’m on a mission to double my monthly reading for the month of June. I set a goal of 52 books for the year and so far am only at 11! Is anyone else trying to do a book a week challenge? If you are, let me know in the comments below with some favorites you’ve read this year.

March through May Book Roundup

list of six books

ONE// Verity: Warning! If you read this, you will not be able to put it down until it is finished. This thriller is one of the most disturbing all-consuming books I have read in a long time. I cannot get over how shaken I was while reading.

TWO// The Idea of You: Anyone else loves a trashy romance novel? This is a must read by the pool. I finished this book in 48 hours and was so in love with the story. My only complaint is that the ending was not as good as the rest of the book, just be prepared to be a little disappointed.

THREE// Work Party: Before attending Create and Cultivate, I decided to read the founder, Jaclyn Johnson’s book. If you are starting a side hustle or a few years into running your business, definitely check this book out. She gives real tangible tools to create and run a successful business you love.

FOUR// Ghosted: Another great thriller! You will not see the ending coming. This novel is part love story, part thriller and you may find yourself wondering if you are going a little crazy too.

FIVE// Nobody Wants to Read Your Sh*t: If you are writing for any business purpose then add this book to your list.

SIX// Daisy Jones and the Six: This book was so well written that I am embarrassed to say, I had to look up if it was fiction or nonfiction halfway through. Told in an interview format, this book tells the story of a successful band and their rise and fall to fame.

Next up on my reading list:

Normal People

The Library Book

How to Not Die Alone

Opposite of Always

Be sure to let me know about your reading goals for 2019 and some of your favorite books that I should add to my list! You can see the rest of the books I’ve read this year here.

Instead of doing what I thought I was supposed to be doing, I got intentional. I started asking “what if” all the time and I stopped putting so much pressure on myself to do things at the perfect time or the right way. Instead I took a little leap here and another there to create a life I love.
