I have spent this week trying to figure out a good routine for myself as I venture into the world of working for yourself. I have to say not having to be in an office for set hours is both a blessing and a curse. I am still working out some of the kinks like how to not spend all day just cuddling Stanley, but for the most part, keeping myself accountable is definitely easier than I thought. Before quitting my job I read up on all the morning routines bloggers have, and how to make sure you don’t go stir crazy and was kind of dreading a week with no real plans or deadlines. Luckily, I made some good goals for the week and jumped in head first.

Here are some of my favorite finds from the week.

You have to read this book! I just finished it last night and the ending just sent my head spinning. If you are looking for a good thriller but don’t like being home alone then this is the book for you. It keeps the pages turning but you’ll sleep just fine.

I’m not shopping right now, but if I was then these shoes would already be in my closet.

I am planning a day trip to 5th Water Hot Springs and fell absolutely in love with the photos from City Home Collective. Anyone else dying to go?

I have started listening to the Perpetual Traffic podcast after attending a social media seminar this week. If you are looking to understand Facebook funnels and targeted advertising then this is a great place to start.

You need these, and you can thank me later. I have been living in them all week!

I'm Bailey, your new social media bestie.

Instead of doing what I thought I was supposed to be doing, I got intentional. I started asking “what if” all the time and I stopped putting so much pressure on myself to do things at the perfect time or the right way. Instead I took a little leap here and another there to create a life I love.
