With the cooler temperatures arriving, I have gotten a little bit more into cooking lately. I swear I ate out for almost every meal in the summer, just because of how hot my apartment got during the day. I took some time earlier this week to go up on the roof and grill a somewhat unconventional recipe.
I have been a long time love of Frank’s RedHot, it seriously got me through my Whole30 in January. Did you know that their Hot Sauce is Whole30 friendly? It adds a good kick to any meal! Which is why when I saw the opportunity to work with Franks Hot Sauce I jumped on it. Their Hot Sauce has been a staple in my diet for so long that it just felt like the perfect fit.
Alright, back to the recipe, I decided to make a grilled french bread buffalo chicken pizza. You can find the original recipe here. I have a few suggestions if you decide to try it yourself, first off either keep the grill at a very low temperature or set the loaf of bread on tin foil to avoid burning the bread. Mine definitely got a little bit crispy and charred on the bottom, but it was still delicious. The other suggestion I have is to mix it up with cheeses, I mean who doesn’t want more cheese anyway? This recipe was beyond easy to make, just mix up the sauces and load up the bread boats and you’re done. To serve I recommend having a sauce to cool the heat a little bit, ranch would be perfect!
I have a few more recipes I am excited to try out for football season with Frank’s RedHot, you can peruse them on my Pinterest page. If you’re like me and put Frank’s RedHot on everything I would love some recommendations for different recipes in the comments below!
