  • 📚 BURIED IN BOOKS 📚 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Who else has been spending some extra time reading over these past couple weeks? I am looking to add to my reading list so let me know what you are reading too.
  • 💛 LET’S LIFT EACH OTHER UP 💛 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I know we are all feeling stressed, anxious, afraid, and just generally unsettled. But I want to bring a little light into your day. Share one thing that is bringing you joy in the comments and let’s lift each other up! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For me it’s FINALLY finishing my course and getting ready to share it all with you. Pre-quarantine I kept putting this off, even though it was something I was so so passionate about.   • ✨ DO WHAT FEELS RIGHT ✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Last week really flipped things upside down for me and I know for a lot of you too. Which is why I wanted to remind you to do what feels right and best for you. Maybe it’s waking up and working out or maybe it’s cookie dough for breakfast. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There is no one right way to navigating everything that is going on. Be kind and enjoy the little things. 🍪

  • For those of you that have been following along for awhile you’ve heard this before. But I wanted to share how this tagline has changed for me over the past few years. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✈️ When I started Beautiful Detour I was dropping out of college and moving to Australia. I didn’t know what was next for me or that I would decide after a year and a half to move back to SLC and finish my degree. Or that I would take a job before I graduated and quit that job one year later to do my own thing. All I knew at each of these cross roads is I didn’t want to sacrifice being happy for the right time or perfect situation. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 💕 My tagline never put a bucket list on hold doesn’t only apply to traveling the world anymore. Now it means creating a business and a life that I am obsessed with. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Share this post to remind people that they should never put any part of their bucket list on hold.
