How to Make a Sorority Paddle With Campus DIY

in lifestyle on 28/11/16

I joined my sorority, Alpha Chi Omega last year. I am new to this whole sorority thing and was unsure about joining at first, but it has been where I have made some of my best friends and favorite memories. If you are already in a house or have gone alumni, then you know about all of the crafting. There is a lot of it! I am a huge fan of crafting but paddles are something I sometimes dread. Our big little reveal is always during midterms which is prime time for paddle crafting That’s why I am so excited to share this awesome store with you!

Campus DIY Sorority Paddle

Campus DIY is an online store for all of your crafting needs. They make it super easy for you to find what you want and then they send it right to your door. So, no need to go to Michaels. The best part about Campus DIY is that they send you your paddle already painted! This is a huge timesaver because you won’t have to go over the paddle with three coats of paint just to get to the actual crafting. Campus DIY “aims to make crafting mess-free, hassle-free, and simple. That means no more paint-covered dorm room floors or sticky hands from glue.”  Check out my Campus DIY paddle!

Campus DIY Sorority Paddle

I decided to create a recruitment paddle for Spring 2017. Here are all the pieces you’ll need from Campus DIY.

Glue Gun

White Paint Marker

The best surprise when you order with Campus DIY is that they package it in a gift box with your sorority letters on it. This added detail really makes your paddle stand out from the crowd. Crafting paddles for different occasions is one of my favorite traditions in my house. Do you have any favorites?

My projects include everything from starting a new business to enjoying all the sweets. Can’t complain! 🌷

What are the plans and projects you’re working on this spring?
  • Spring to me always reminds me of plants and outdoor projects. Since I don’t have a yard I decided to create a little herb garden indoors. 🌱
I am absolutely in love with my DIY Wall Garden. Check out my steps with the link in bio. 🌱
And don’t worry if you don’t have a green thumb neither do I.
  • I told you all yesterday that I am taking this week to focus on spring! 🌷
AND that definitely includes spring cleaning for me. Not just my house but a digital spring cleaning. Here are a few of my tips:
1️⃣ unsubscribe from email lists you don’t remember signing up for
2️⃣ archive old insta posts that don’t represent you anymore
3️⃣ delete your “friends” on Facebook that you don’t even know or want to know
4️⃣ empty all spam folders and downloads folder on your computer
✨
Do you have any spring cleaning tips?
  • Ready to swing into spring 🌸
✨
This week I am really focusing on my goals for spring 2018. Including some spring cleaning, planting some new herbs, and more. 🌸

  • One of my fav things to do is find fun quotes on Pinterest. Can anyone else just scroll through for 15 minutes and be totally entertained? Anyways, here are a few of my favorites that I found this week. Comment with your fav quote (I love finding new ones)!
