Happy February! I posted my winter bucket list a little earlier in the year and I thought with the change of the month it would be a great time for an update. When I create these bucket lists I am trying to set myself up to really take advantage of my time and focus on what is most important to me. It also helps me stay on track for long-term goals.
Challenge myself with the Whole30: Well I did it! Today is my first day after the Whole30 and I have never felt better. This experience truly changed how I see food and more importantly gave me an understanding of just what nutrients my body wants and needs. P.S. I now love brussel sprouts. I will be sharing a post all about my Whole30 journey soon.
Try new fitness classes: I have tried 4 new studios thanks to Class Pass and although I haven’t loved every single class I have fallen back in love with working out. Taking these classes solo has also been a great challenge for me and I am getting even more comfortable meeting new people.
Read every single day: Everyone needs to start doing this! Some nights I only read a sentence but 90% of the time I find myself reading multiple chapters. Here are the books I’ve read in January; You are a Badass at Making Money, The Happiness Trap, Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine, Soulful Simplicity. I would recommend any and all of these books to all of you! They gave me the right balance of motivation and fun.
I still have seven more things to complete and a little less than two months to do it. I will keep you updated on how it goes!
If you haven’t created your own winter bucket list it’s not too late, winter officially ends on March 20th and there is so much time to accomplish all your winter goals. If you end up participating be sure to send your own bucket list to me (beautifuldetour@gmail.com), I love to see how other people are taking advantage of the season.
