HAPPY FRIDAY! I am so excited for the weekend to be here. Even though I am determining my own schedule every day, there is still a sense of freedom when 5 pm rolls around on Friday. I spent this week creating some content that will be coming to the blog soon and I think you are really going to enjoy it.
I also thought I would take a little time today to give you a life update. I recently quit my full-time 9-5 job to create work I really care about. I found that being in a job that wasn’t making me happy, wasn’t fulfilling, and definitely wasn’t helping me give back to my community was something that I needed to leave behind.
Soooo … I am introducing my new business! I am going to help small business owners and entrepreneurs (all of you amazing people) grow their social platforms. You can read more about the services I offer here, but I also wanted to share that there will be more content coming to the blog to help you grow and get creative with your own social platforms. Don’t worry, I’ll still be sharing bits and pieces of my life and all things travel and fashion. I can’t wait to work with all of you, whether it is helping you plan out your monthly content to sharing the best articles out there about the latest algorithm changes, or chatting over email about the work you really care about. I love hearing from you guys!
Now on to my Friday Favorites.
As I am trying to improve my own content and learn more about what makes other bloggers successful, I have been reading A TON. A lot of what I am reading is stuff everyone already knows, but every once in a while I stumble on great resources like these photography tips. The article gives you enough tools to grow, but it won’t give you information overload.
This bedroom tour on The EveryGirl has me so inspired to finish decorating my bedroom. I have been living in my apartment for almost two years (which is absolutely crazy!) and I still haven’t finished all my little projects. Be sure to follow along on Instagram Stories to see my work in progress bedroom.
Getting flowers for my house has become one of my favorite weekly rituals. I normally go to my local Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods but The Bouqs Co. have some of my favorite florals. If you are looking for an easy gift for someone, I highly recommend sending them some flowers.
Loved seeing Wendy Vanessa in this drop waist dress! We all know that pink is definitely a theme in my life and this blush color is perfect for spring.
P.S. love how she wears whatever the F she wants.
