Salt Lake City had the first snowfall of the season late last night. I stayed up watching Gilmore Girls and the snow falling outside my window. This has to be my all-time favorite day of the year, the entire city turns white (if only for half a day) and everyone is in good spirits. Not even scraping the snow off my car with an old water bottle could keep me down today. I started my day with my morning routine and by putting on my new winter jacket and enjoying a Caramel Brulee Latte from Starbucks (I think I get at least four of these a week). How do you like to spend the first snow day? Every big season change has me excited for new recipes but nothing quite beats winter and holiday treats. It’s the best time to stock up on soups to have for the week too. This is how I have been having lunches prepped every day. In honor of this very special day and wonderful season, I’ve listed some of my favorite recipes to make when it snows. These recipes will have you covered from breakfast to dinner and everything in between.
