I am beyond excited for the first snowfall to come, and even though the days here in Salt Lake have been unseasonably warm, the mornings and nights are still so cold. If you are like me, you’ve probably hit that end of semester slump. You know … the one that convinces you to stay home from classes and to blow off that extra credit assignment. I definitely struggled one morning recently convincing myself to get up and venture into the cold to make it to my morning class. Brrrrrr …. it’s time for me to invest in a coat.

I wanted to find coats that have a fun twist on a very classic look. Considering I haven’t purchased a coat in over three years, I know this is an item that is going to stick around for awhile. Do you have any key pieces that stick around year after year?
