Short form video content came in hot and is here to stay. If you are regularly creating Instagram Reels or TikTok videos, you know how powerful they are as marketing tools. You reach a larger audience, gain more followers, and make deeper connections online vs. posting photos on Instagram. But you also know how time-consuming creating content for Reels and TikTok videos is and the amount of content you need to produce to keep up.
While you may not be able to jump on every single trend I want to share three apps that help speed up and enhance my Reels creation process.
Three Apps I Use to Make Instagram Reels
- Tezza App: I use the Tezza app to edit the brightness and filter on my videos. You can also straighten, crop, add grain, and so much more in this app. It is definitely worth the under $50/year subscription cost. This app is updated with new filters and features at least once every couple of months.
- Temply: This app is great for adding text to your videos that will stand out. I don’t know about you, but I find the font options on Instagram and TikTok a little lackluster. I especially like this app for vlogs or day-in-the-life style videos.
- Canva: if you don’t already use Canva for all your design needs, it’s time to start. I use this app to create entire reels and edit multiple clips together as well as create cover images. Canva is great because you can work between desktop and mobile to create your video.
There are 1 million more apps and tools out there for you to explore but these three are my favorites and have been for a while. If you have a favorite app or tool for creating short-form video content, drop them in the comments below.
